I am an Artist ready to contribute and make ideas and concepts a reality. I'm eager to join a creative team and contribute immediately.
I’m a motivated, outgoing team player and leader. I love the creative process in 3D as well as in traditional forms. At the core, I'm a hardworking, collaborative, and enthusiastic individual that constantly strives to improve, grow and deliver results. I solve problems, I'm creative, I can learn new technologies, love animation in games, action figures, and take pride in the work that I do. I have well rounded anatomy, character design, and illustration skills that make me an asset to an Art Department.
I work on ZBrush, Maya, Photoshop and Illustrator primarily.
I was first inspired in the 4th grade when my teacher wheeled in the TV and VCR to the classroom so we could get our first taste of mythology. We all watched the original "Clash of the Titans" and I'd say that set my heart in fantasy art and animation.
I grew up loving the old loony tunes and Disney features. I got my first comic book when I was 12 or 13 and it was X-men. Discovered Jim Lee and Bisley shortly after and my mind was blown.
In high school, after seeing Jurassic Park and the "movie magic" behind the scenes, it cemented in my heart that I'd like to make a living in the modern arts. In particular, I chose traditional Animation.
I took my enthusiasm to Woodbury University in Burbank CA for my studies and to refine the skills I'd need to follow this passion. I graduated in 2001 with wide eyes and a lion's heart to pursue my dreams.
I currently live in Los Angeles, CA and I enjoy growing as an artist.
My passion is 3D creature sculpting.
Please share your criticism and your advice as it's the only way I've been able to learn and push myself.
